Eating in the 4-story cafeteria located directly next to Lanhui. One of the weirder features of campus is the proliferation of abandoned cafeterias, some of which closed since our arrival. The presumption is that once they opened this palace of a shi tang, they figured they didn't need any other ones. Always get to meals on time. That means at 12 for lunch and 5:30-6 for dinner, or the good stuff runs out (and the good stuff is pretty good, besides being extremely cheap...usually about 50-75 cents per meal). This building is also open late at night, which makes it a good place to study as long as you don't being occasionally interrupted by curious older Chinese. Around world cup time, the entire place (all 4 stories) fills up during games.
